“ This is a definite must have. Hubs had curried goat and I had the oxtail with mac n cheese and plantains...Holy smokes! EXCELLENT! I haven't found a lot of good ethnic food in the area but this is going to be a must have. This is a hole in the wall, not a date night place. But I don't care if it's great food. And it is! ”

Unfortunately we didn't make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they're doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend! ”

“ Full stars for great food and service! We ordered our family Thanksgiving dinner with jerk turkey, rice n peas, potato salad and mac n cheese! We even got the ackee and saltfish for breakfast!! It was all so delicious and full of flavor! As Jamaicans, we often set the bar REALLY high and Red Stripe restaurant exceeded our expectations with authentic food and chef definitely passed the vibes check! It's great knowing that we can find home away from home at Hilton Head! Thank you ”

“ If you want tasty Caribbean food, this is the spot to hit up in Bluffton, SC. The service was excellent and they really made my girlfriend and I feel like family. We ordered the Jerk Potsticker's and a beef patty as an appetizer along with a couple of well made cocktails and spent some time getting to know the staff better. Afterwords, we decided to get the Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken, which were excellent along with the sides we chose. I would recommend this place to anyone with an adventurous palette. ”
“ One of my favorite things to come across is Caribbean food where I least expect it. We went to bluffton to visit some friends and family and were shown this amazing place that needs way more business! The food is the best Jamaican food I've had in the low country/ coastal empire so far. The owner is amazing, super friendly, and we had the luxury of going when there was a DJ playing all of the tunes. I even asked for some Dancehall and selecta delivered!! The conch fritters are the best I've ever has. Fluffy and flavorful with an amazing dipping sauce on the side. The drunken chicken was slightly sweet and cooked to perfection. The Jerk chicken, AMAZING. Mac and cheese, perfectly done. Cabbage, well cooked. Oxtail, fall off the bone and bursting with flavor. Plantain, perfectly sweet. And the Caribbean slaw was a nice little palate cleanser. Great option of drinks as well, both alcohol and non alcohol. And the outdoor area makes me feel like I'm Caribbean with the decor and games. Very clean establishment, and the service was phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! ”
